Program Manager, Food Shift

Food Shift is looking for someone with business, management, and food industry experience to join our team as Program Manager. The Food Shift Kitchen is Food Shift’s primary program at this time and the Program Manager will be responsible for expanding this program to recover more food, feed more people, create more jobs, and generate more revenue.  Our ideal candidate is passionate about Food Shift’s mission, the power of food, and the potential for social enterprise to impact communities. The Program Manager is responsible for managing program operations and building a community of support to successfully achieve the organization’s mission and goals in a way that is effective, in line with Food Shift’s mission and values, and contributes to organizational sustainability.  The Program Manager reports to the Director and will directly manage all program staff, budgets, financing, and metrics.

Programs & Communications Manager, Project Coyote

The Programs and Communications Manager is responsible for implementing and coordinating current programs and campaigns with Project Coyote staff, state representatives, advisors, and volunteers. In addition, the Programs and Communications Manager will produce and coordinate communications/written materials for Project Coyote including, but not limited to, organizational e-newsletters, blogs, e-appeals, news releases and funding proposals as they relate to the organization’s advocacy programs and campaigns. S/he will report to the Executive Director and work closely with staff, consultants and advisors. We are looking for an energetic person to join a highly effective and exciting organization that is undergoing strategic expansion.

Program Coordinator (part time-temporary)

The Green Life peer education self-sufficiency and eco-literacy program teaches incarcerated individuals and those reentering community the importance of a healthy relationship with the Earth. Past and potentially future activities include teaching permaculture principles, life skills, and emotional readiness to inmates inside San Quentin prison. Current activities include working with re-entry (post release) programs to design a permaculture-based training program along with partners for job readiness and restorative healing. Green Life is a fiscally sponsored project of Earth Island Institute; this position would be an employee of Earth Island.

Internships with All One Ocean

All One Ocean’s mission is to educate people about the destructive impacts of our trash by providing a simple way for beachgoers, any time they visit the beach, to help clean up our Ocean, beautify beaches and prevent needless death and suffering to marine life.
